Our focus has been on preparing owners for exit, helping them build a company that can exist beyond their involvement, and now our focus is on developing a matchmaking program to help bring buyers and sellers together through a program called Succession Iowa.
Succession Iowa is focused on ensuring long term viability of Iowa owned small and medium enterprises. We act as a matchmaker between rural business owners looking to exit and qualified buyers who have the ability to buy and manage these businesses.
The program includes a practical experience in business valuation as an internship opportunity for UNI Finance majors.
