UNI Advance Iowa Program Launches a Family Business Forum

CEDAR FALLS, IA-- Advance Iowa, a program hosted on University of Northern Iowa’s campus, will be expanding their services to include meeting the needs of family owned businesses in Iowa.  The Family Business Forum Breakfast Series is designed to bring families together to learn best practices from experts and other family businesses who are navigating the landscape of owning and operating  a family business.

 

All in the Family: Family Business Succession Planning Breakfast, the first of three meetings, will take place on September 28th at 7:30 A.M. at Courtyard By Marriott in Ankeny.

 

During the first forum, a panel of generational business owners from a small, medium and large businesses will discuss the process to plan and implement a succession plan. “We are excited to gather a community that will focus on providing tools and resources to assist family businesses with the unique set of issues facing family owned businesses and to give them a platform to find their best path to move forward.” says Dan Beenken, Advance Iowa Program Director.

 

To join the movement of forward thinking family businesses in Iowa, register before Sept. 1 for a special introductory price of $150 per family (unlimited number of family attendees at the breakfast included in the price).
