Family Business, Business Ownership Transition, New Ventures/Entrepreneurship, and Growth Through Innovation
Our 4 Pillars of Focus aim to help Iowa businesses head towards the right direction to succeed. Our new services follow these pillars and are also intended to prepare business owners for the future of the company.
Family Business are a vital part to Iowa's economy. They even have the potential to out-perform non-family businesses when operating smoothly. The Family Business program acts as a resource for family business owners to give and receive information to and from like-minded individuals.
Business Ownership Transition is ever so prevalent in Iowa's more rural areas, where two-thirds of businesses with at least one employee are owned by a baby-boomer. CBGI's business transition services encourage a multitude of different business models to help prepare businesses and their owners for smooth transitions in ownership.
New Ventures/Entrepreneurship are concepts that continue to grow, especially during economic turmoil. Tools like IASourceLink and our regional Small Business Development Center work to help businesses in any stage of development and provide them resources necessary to succeed.
Innovation keeps businesses relevant and helps them stand out from the competition. CBGI services aim to help business leaders identify and develop new products and ideas that create and sustain future growth as well as boosting employee engagement.
